Thesis Statement
How many of you watched a movie recently? Movies, such as Inception, limitless, and Source Code, depict how incredible our central process units can be. We create different stories in our dreams; things that we might want to do but far out of reach. Why do people find dreams to be more desirable then reality? When we confront with random events, we automatically evaluate the situation mentally. Is the situation threatening to us? If our skills and knowledge outweigh the demands of the threat, then we label the situation as stressful. Although everyone sees situations differently and each person has different copying skills, we can use emotional and physical tolerance to measure how much we can cope with stress.
Throughout the stages of our lives, we confront and receive events that are translated into emotions. Some encounters are stress - provoking, but it is our thoughts about these events that determine whether they are problems to us. We may respond to stress in a manner that have a negative consequences on our physical, mental and social wellbeing. We will be able to manage stress more effectively by understanding ourselves and our reactions to stress provoking events.
To manage these universal concerns, we must start from within. Perhaps we can have some fun. Lets walk outside of our house, offices, and cities; explore our backyard, parks, and nature. Thus, the intent of this proposal is to create an environment utilizing "nature" as a natural remedy for healing stress to calm our mind. This is a self-care activity and it is certainly a perfect place to relax and escape from the stresses and strains of our daily life.
Over time we will realize our inner-self to reach at a state of serenity with greater relaxation. The practical effort in focusing completely on the beauty of nature takes our minds away from the "mind clutter," which constantly tries to invade our peaceful mind. The destined result is peace, serenity, calmness, and possibility leading us to a gate with new insights.
